Hi, I am fairly new to modelling, when I say new, I have made five models in the past 10 years.
1. Tamiya 1/35 - WW2, 5 Figure British Infantry on Patrol
2. Tommy'sWar - 54mm - WW1, Private 4th Bn Middlesex Regiment Mons 1914
3. Tamiya 1/35 - WW2 - Hanomag sdkfz251/1 German Half-Track
4. Tamiya 1/35 - WW2 - German Tiger Tank 1 with Crew
5. Italeri 1/35 - WW2 - Russian T34/85 Tank with Crew.
Pictures enclosed, as you can see I still have a lot to learn. I have had a look at your completed models on this forum and am blown away with your skill and finish.
I have now retired from playing sport, so with more time on my hands I have decided to take this hobby on more seriously. My main interest is the Napoleonic and Victorian period.
One day I would love to get my hands on the Crimea "Roll Call" diaroma, from Gordon Mitchell which is currently out of production.
But to start off with and to get me going again I have just ordered the 75mm "Coldstream Guards at Hougoumont, Defending the Wall". from MitchesMilitaryModels. I really like the look of this model, but I wished that as least one of the guardsmen was wearing their Shako without a cover. Does any of the members know where I can purchase a 75mm British Waterloo head wearing a Shako without cover. As I have no contacts whatsoever and any help would be appreciated.
