Welcome aboard Jason, it is really great to see some "20 Somethings" getting into the hobby (y)

What got you into the this hobby and how did you come across planetFigure ?

Hi Wendy thanks for the welcome. My first bust pics are online now.

@ Gordy : Well what brought me into this hobby....i really cant tell you. I am building models for a couple of years now and ca. 3 years ago i started to improve my skills on them.
That was the time when i got my first airbrush and when i startet to learn how to paint faces etc.
The fact that i build airplanes, tanks and figures equally lets me develop slowly but i like all of them too much to concentrate on one sort of kits :)

I found planetFigure some months ago when i changed my paints from enamels to acrylics and i was searching for some informations about painting highlights etc on figures in acryl.

Hey all of you,

thank you for the nice welcome-greetings.

@ Janne Nilsson: No i dont build airliners ;) Most are german WW2 fighters. Specially i have an obsession with the Bf 109

@ Steve (1969): Thanks, i really recognized that here are a lot of helpfull and very nice people. I´m sure i did the right choice to register here.

@Carl+Steve : Thanks and hi

Bye

Hello Jason. . .

Hello Jason, and welcome to PlantFigure. Glad you decided to make yourself
known to fellow Planeteers. As Gordy says, I also think it is good that young
ladies and gentlemen, like yourself are getting into this very rewarding
hobby. I see finding ways to express ourselves as important; taking avenues
of creativity.

Like you, I also build wheeled vehicles, and started with aircraft modeling.

But the main reason, I think the hobby is so rewarding is because of all the
class individuals that you meet. I started building plastic models in 1965 and
have wonderful friends who live all over the planet. I wish you the same
experience, young man,
