Hello all,
First of, thanks for the invite and the acceptance.
A bit about me!
I am a dutch dude almost 52 years old, but feeling young at heart.
I am single and that means I have much time for my hobbies.
I live in the south of the Netherlands near the German border, remnants of the Siegfried line are not even half a mile away from my house (just to give you an idea).
I am building models since I was 10 years old and started out with WW2 models.
Later it went to Vietnam en then Operation Desert Storm.
In the past 15 or 20 years my skill level started to increase more and more.
Mostly I make modern military in scale 1/35, foremost American stuff.
Next to 1/35 I make 1/24 scale models and sometimes other scales too.
My interest in modeling goes to military, horror and a bit of fantasy girls or sparely dressed or naked girls.
I also have 2 3D printers which I use for my modeling, printing small accessoiries like jerry cans and what not.
I have a resin printer for the small detailed things and a fdm printer for larg parts like boxes and paint racks and so on.
Furthermore I like everything that asks my creativeness to be challenged, I am a problem solver if you will.
I design a lot of stuff for my own use in modeling, like small parts to print on my 3d printers, but also boxes and other printables for the ordinary printer (2D on paper).
I thought of selling some of it, but never got to it, but if asked I could send some or post the images.
Well, this is enough for now I think.
Do you have any questions for me, I will happily answer them as soon as I can.
I will post some pictures of my work soon, just have to sort them out a bit, they are to big to post at the moment.
In the mean time keep building our small world glue dot by glue dot at a time.
Kind regards and nice to get to know you all.
Ferdi
