Hi all,
my name is tony, and i reside in the city of york in england,
ive been a fellow modeller for well over 20 years,
i was the figure painter for fort royal, imperial gallery, cromwell models and many many other past companies that have long gone, ive been out of the scene ie- going to shows and clubs ect for a while but i always kept painting the odd figure here and there!
Hoping to seriously get back into the flow again next year, so if you happen to see a middle aged skinhead in bleached jeans and docs with a sexy blonde on his arm come up and say hello, i dont bite honestly!
I used to do the viking reenactment shows, so ive got a great collection of regalia, chainmail gambsons ect ect, and my wife also has loads of stuff so anyone wishing to have any close up pics of anything then please feel free to get in touch,
i have also started to collect british webbing, and clothing, from the 60`s period onward, so again great for any pics of the patterns and colours, and you`d be amazed at the different shades in patterns ect, ive also got the new multi cam,
so id be more than happy to take pics for anyone for any reference
anybody in the york area, im looking at starting a club for fellow figure painters, yes i know theres leeds ect,
loves and hates,
meeting genuine honest people! Hates greedy b. That use the hobby purley for making money and charge the earth for a figure, this is a hobby, almost a £100.00 from some leading companies for a 90mm figure is a rip off, no wonder kids no longer paint unless there dad really nails it on them! Then theres the same old people that swear theve changed there ways and yet still rip you off, you know who you are! And yet we allow them to do it! I`ll sign off now before i start naming and shaming! All the best to all you honest genuine modellers, merry xmas. Tony
