Robert here. I started modelling in February 2023 and mainly on Revell aircraft and Tamiya 1/35 tanks and figures. I discovered the world of larger models only recently and have branched out. I started on Mitches Military 120mm model 33rd Regt The Dukes Drummer Waterloo. I regret using the satin finish that I had for aircraft but we live and learn! I love the detailing work you can do with the larger models but obviously less room for error.

I will post some of my 1/35 dioramas soon.

Thank you.

Robert

Hi Rob,
Welcome, if your are going to do figures then your certainly need matt paints so they do not end up with the toy soldier look.
Yes there is nowhere to hide on the larger scale figures, we have all learnt that one. The drummer looks very tidy though.
Looking forward to seeing more.
cheers
Richie
