Hi all

At last I can show you my finished Romeo Models' Spanish noble, sculpted by the talented Maurizio Bruno.

The miniature is painted in oils over acrylics.

Wall segment, amphora and plant are all scratchbuild.

I hope you like it and as usual all comments are welcome.

Beautiful work with some stunning patterns on his cloak. I love that pot plant, the mould/green towards the base of it makes it I reckon, looks as though its been there for a while

Stunning again. That terracotta pot is a real standout feature. I think it is the best I've seen in miniature. The cloak is another example of top-notch painting - praise all round. I could go on more....... ;)

This piece is deserving of the time I am sure you have put into it.

Wow, some incredible colors and some really highly detailed items too. I really like the contrast of colors, the pot adds dimension too. Great work Johan, love it!

Cheers, Ski.

Greetings Johan:

This is just a lovely piece of work. So artistic. And your colour
choices just reak, thru out the composition, with "colour harmony".

However, I am quite old and my short term memory is not so
good. I do recall the name Romero Models. . . but I do not
remember this figure. And, I have no idea what scale this figure is.
If I knew that, what the scale is, it would be so much easier for
this old Jayhawk to understand just what it is in these photos,
that I am looking at. . Please? :)

Stunning execution and composition! Every element works together very well! (y)
Painting is fantastic. Hi level of WOW factor!
Congrats Johan! A great piece!
Cheers,
Zeno :)

Thanks all for so much praise! This really gives me a boost...

The completion of this project has been very time consuming at the verge of becoming annoying. So once the finishing touches were applied, I felt a great relief to finally being able to divert my attention to my other projects.

Dear Rick

The miniature is in 75 mm. It's already many years on the market, but I'm such a slow worker. THX for the compliments!

Here's another close up that I forgat to publish in my first post...

Johan,
You have done a masterful paint job on this figure. The colours and tones are great and the base is outstanding. Congratulations.
Cheers

I like your painting style, the flesh tone in particular. The scratch work wall sets the scene.
Beautiful.
Regards
Bob
