I am building a vignette with three Romans in leggings and thick scarves around neck fighting off a German warrior with only bearskin skirt (sorry can't think of the right word) and thick leather boots would it be historically accurate to have them fighting in snow? The reason being that the German warrior is bare chested.

I don't think that this scene wouldt be in the snow. Even the Germans who fought the Romans (like the Marcomanni) where dressed up well for the cold weather.

Marc.
