Hobbits and all that

hi there.

SWMBO has bought me the Knight miniatures set of the Lord of the Rings figures for Christmas (Gandalf, Aragorn, Boromir and Legolas). I'd like to do a vignette of the full ellowship but i'm struggling to find the Hobbits and Gimli of the same quality and in 70mm scale (or whatever dwarves and hobbits scale out at in miniature )

does anyone know where i might source these

To the best of my knowledge there are no figures of the four Hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin) and Gimli available in the 70mm size, and similar in quality to the other Knight Miniatures figures from LOTR.

Tony, there was the Bilbo Baggins figure that you had at WASMEX. Can i ask what scale andwho from.if it works i might be able to adapt him

The figure is by Heroes & Villains and is 1/32nd scale. I'm not sure it would be suitable as a companion with 70mm figures

if the figure's 54mm tall (standard 1/32height) then thats 4 1/2 feet tall compared to a 70mm figure, just a bit tall for a hobbit (though Frodo was "taller than some and fairer than most,"). if its 38mm tall which would be the height of a hobbit in 1/32 scale, that makes him 3 1/3 ft tall in 70mm scale, still reasonable for a hobbit.
so theres a possibility here

I don't have this figure, but i watched it at some competitions and is smaller than 54mm tall, and bigger than 28mm. Maybe about 38mm. I can assure that sculpt, details and resincast are very goods. Cheers for the links. I see that Nocturna have a 70 mm hobbit in their Akelarre range called Autumn Fall. He's playing a lute but has a look of Frodo about him, conversion maybe
