Manicured sheep :meh:

Hi Guys ,

As a lad from the depths of the wiltshire countryside (yes we have sheep but none too good looking) I am a little worried if I ecver meet you guys ...glad I gave up my sheepskin coat !!!!!

I have a cheap "dremel" type , got mine from Aldi a while back so they might be worth looking at , it isn't cordless but serves me well

Off now to wander happily throgh the fields

Happy dremmelling Del

Sensible precaution dumping the coat Kevin. I tend to wear cotton when I'm around them. Be careful you don't gambol through the fields.... people will talk :) I'll have a look at Aldi

Colin, do they really make that much difference from craft knives, chisels etc? I know being made from carbide they shouldn't go blunt within any reasonable timeframe used on just about anything we'd want to work on in the hobby, I'm just wondering about the effectiveness.

My main objection to these is like with very expensive toasters (like the Dualit) versus a cheaper model that does the same job at a fraction of the price. Back when I saw those first mentioned I did a bit of hunting around and there are many similar tools used for deburring in metal shops, found a four-tool set, each with its own handle, for 11 bucks! They're not carbide but they are intended to be used on metals so they're plenty tough, which makes the price differential hard to justify for roughly equivalent functionality.

No, no it wasn't a riposte at Carl, in fact apart from his small abberation he, like me is a well balanced normal individual.
And the stories about him harbouring the Tamworth Two are scurrilous lies

Tis true buddy, it was a lie! Everyone knows there was three, and they were from Lichfield...!:LOL:
But sadly the news isn't good! The Lichfield three, Left eye Lopez, supple Sue, and Pliable Pam are now languishing in Long Lartin for larceny!!!
