hockey figures

does anyone know if anyone makes any hockey figures in any scale? id like them to be a bruins player, but anything really, as long as they arent habs or rangers

If Francesca is the same women who showed 2 hockey players in progress at Long Island, sadly no, she is not doing them commercially as of the Long Island show.

The 2 at the show were GREAT. I spoke to her briefly. Perhaps if enough of us begged?

She was talking about doing a goal tender because of face masks. I wish that some manufacturer woudld change her mind

I believe I have the solution to your problem. McFarlane productions has a wide range of vinyl figures of hockey players, from the modern players to "legends" of the game. They come pre-painted, but I re-painted one of them (Frank Mahovolich) and he turned out wonderfully! You have to prime it with some kind of acrylic primer, but it's nothing even a beginner couldn't handle. The sculpting is unbelievable! Very life like and the faces are remarkable likenesses of the players being portrayed. Check out his website at www.mcfarlane.com. You won't be sorry, especially when you see the Gerry Cheevers figure in 1/9 scale, complete with net!

yeah thats what she suggested, nd ive already bought one. being along time bruins fan, i did get the cheevers, and also picked up orr.

I've haven't checked in lately because of the holidays and all the craziness surrounding them... but I'm glad to hear you bought some. Definitely post pictures when you get a chance. I'm sure we'd all like to see them painted up!

I have some new hockey figures in the works... A Terry O'Reilly as well as a few others. I just need to find the time!
