Almost finished the first part of this bust double, just some final touch ups before completion, the piece was painted in oils over acrylic basecoats, all flesh was completed using oils.
I have a couple of ideas for the finished duo which I'm working on at present.

The photos may look abit glossy,i think I had the lighting wrong

Hope you like it :)

Hi Brian,
Another impressive piece of clothes painting, the symetrical look is right on the money for me, certainly a test of your patience and a testament to your skill.(y) Just had a quick look at your website, very, very inspiring work.
cheers
Richie

Many thanks Richie for your continued support,it was abit of a challenge trying to paint these patterns,im happy enough with the deer stalker but there still looks something wrong with the cape,on one hand im happy but not 100%,ive had some positive comments so far,but I was prepared to strip the cloak and start again.
Thanks for looking in on the website and your kind comments,im glad you liked it but I still have some more things to do on it yet (y)

Cracking paint job Brian.I like the flesh tones you've used and the check patterns are perfect.Rather you than me, as i'm hopeless at all that intricate work.
