Hi everyone,

Starting the next instalment of the Home Guard Series 1/9th scale busts. While finishing off the bust no.3, I thought I'd start on the next one. If everything goes to plan I'm hoping this can be available around the same time. Sculpted in a polymer clay mix, at this stage just the head that's being done. Thanks for looking.

Stunning likeness & character for young Pike mate!!
Are you planning on doing a universal body or could it be adapted from Jones or Ridley perhaps?
Lovely work all round & look forward to seeing you painting these up as well.

PS who does your etched brass?

Nailed it Chris, Dont forget the scarf. Will uncle Arthur be next?
Mike.
Thanks Mike, yes, the scarf will be added, no problem's.
As for uncle Arthur, I'm leaning more to re-sculpting him. He was done shortly after the first two around 18 months ago, just haven't settled on that.

Thank you very much Mike, glad you're liking him thus far. I'll be doing an specific torso to match this one. I'm afraid I didn't plan on a generic connection for the head's, so they're all individual in fit. Maybe something to think about in the future. But I'm feeling more comfortable in how I've approached the last 2 or 3 head sculpts set up on the cork. Think I'll be trying this approach for this particular torso, along with sculpting the outer layer in polymer instead of epoxy.

I'll DM you the contact details
