Thought I'd post this picture of a WIP sculpture I have recently started. It's been quite some months since I've been pushing some polymer clay around. And of course a little ways to go, but I'm happy with the start of this one.

I met the actor Bill Pertwee at the Model Engineer Exhibition in about 1974 when I was a teenager. He was into model soldiers in one way or another, I can't remember whether toy soldiers or more naturalistic. Nice man, I got his autograph.

A great shame when the show folded - the new publishers of Model Engineer just wanted to monetise everything in their portfolio and were not interested in supporting the show (a bit like Euromilitaire at the end?).
