Hi Gary,

Actually I do have several figures and busts from both of them as "Dracula" and "Van Helsing".
I do also have busts from them depicting "The creature" and "Baron Frankenstein".
Most of them are "garage kits" very limited productions that I tried very hard to find them.
If you need I can send you pictures of some of them.I am a big fan of the Hammer films and I am trying to acquire whatever is good........

Fantastic work! The painting of the eyes is very realistic.

HI Fokionas, thank you and yes please, I grew up on Hammer and Universal horror movies and still have a soft spot for them. I want to do Peter Cushing as I last saw him interviewed, as a very old man, which I think would be an interesting challenge to paint.
Best wishes, Gary.

I’d be interested to learn how and where the pastels were used on this impressive bust. Presumably, they softened the skin tones.

I’m not yet confident enough in my skill level to tackle a bust but it would be nice to know for the future when (if) I am.

Jeff

Gary,
As promised I am sending to you what I have from Peter Cushing so far , in relation with horror movies.
If you need any additional pictures or information on any of these let me know.
The full figure, holding a "cross" is 1/6 (!!!!) scale and I have the Dracula as well depicting the famous scene from The Hammer Studios movie.
The bust is from I&E miniatures and it is much better than it looks in the picture.
Of course there are the two busts from Titan Merchandise which you can easily paint the way you want...............
If you want models from Christopher Lee or Frankenstein ,then I need to create a thread.......................
Enjoy!!!
