Lovely little quick build, Soldiers 54mm Decurion 2nd Century. Sculpted by Adriano Laruccia. The main inspiration for this was seeing the Digging for Britain special episode on the Horsemen of Hadrian's Wall, where about 30 re-enactors adopted replica uniforms and recreated Roman Cavalry drills.

Painted in acrylics

Great subject and great quality painting. I do like your color choice and the freehand on the shield!

I have this figure painted in my collection and it is a little jewel. Your rendition of it is superb and really well presented too.

Excellent work on a fantastic figure, Graham! I really liked that "Digging for Britain" episode, too.
