Hi guys. How do i go about getting a replacement piece from Andrea? I am missing the large sword that is mounted from the saddle of their 54mm mounted Polish Winged Hussar? Do i email them directly or do they have a US distributor i should go through? Thanks guys!

I've gotten missing or damaged parts from Andrea before by emailing the manufacturer direct.

I had a problem of a small p/e fret being damaged and I emailed them and then I had to fax a copy of the little coupon that came in the kit to them and in about 2 weeks I go this huge box with the tiny litte replacement part.

You're lucky. A few years ago, I sent the necessary info and coupon for a missing sword. I received a reply stating they would gladly send a replacement for 8 euros (S/H). :( As you can imagine, I declined.

Ive had a similar experience just as Paul.

Im not sure whether Ive lost the spurs for their Agincourt set or if they were missing?

Ive emailed Andrea a few times without getting a reply. After a while theyve asked for the coupon which Ive had lost. I then asked if I could by the spurs not being sure if Ive misplaced the spurs myself. I never got a reply.

Im very reluctant in dealing with Andrea directly but this happend a few years ago.

Cheers

It's very dissapointing how Andrea treats there clients.

They have forgotten who has made there company great!!

Askin money for an item that was perhaps not in the box, i find over the edge!!

But, they allways ask about there coupon, even if it is an older kit.

Allthough I have pointed them out, a few years back that the older kits dont have any coupon inside, they started with that about 8 or 9 years ago!!

So if they wanna ask a proof that the kit is really in your possesion, that they do it right manner or they dont do it at all!!

Hi mate,

I wish you good luck ... HERE is MY STORY! I bought a figure [ the fantasy dwarf]this Euro, directly from their stand, on opening I found out that the main body part was tremendously pitted and distored and cannot understand from an EU standard company how it passed the quality control ... but everyone is human and I understand mistakes ... so went back to the stand and their sales girl was willing to change but unfortunetly run out of stock [?]... so she guided me to send an e-mail with images of the item and coupon ... back to Malta on my arrival I send my 'compalint' as instructed ... they responded quite fast and informed me that I am getting a replacement ... more than a month passed and nothing yet arrived, last weekend I again asked for it and guess what the information was that I have to wait some more time to get my request ... brilliant customer service! :(

Hope Andrea Management is reading this as I am very annoyed THIS IS NOT AN APPROACH TO BUYERS ... and my next e-mail to them is not going to be nice at all!

a very p****d Ivan

David,

Military Model Distributors (www.squadron.com) is/was the US distributor for Andrea Miniatures' products. I say is/was because I'm not certain what has changed since MMD/Squadron changed ownership last year. In any event, if you bought the figure from Squadron Mail Order or from a hobby shop dealing with MMD, then they should take care of you. If you bought it from an overseas concern or a US company that graymarkets Andrea products, then it's anybody's guess...

Cheers,

Glen
