how do you create a 'v-bench' ?

hi . firstly thanks to Roy for the guide to the Clubhouse, much appreciated!
my next inquiry is as follows;

i have finally signed up to some image sites and the mods were nice enough to send me examples of linking and posting images, but how do you all create those v-benches? i have looked at the tools section but am not sure of what to do.
i have a kitPic account now so can post pics andmake a gallery but would like to do a v-bench! can any one explain in simple terms?

p.s ;; what are the code buttons used for? my computer skills are very poor(sadly!)

hi guy! the code buttons on a reply form is what i'm reffering to but i guess thats what i know as the font tools up there , eg, http, quote, colour ect- but maybe i am wrong.

The buttons above your posting are for BoldItalic textUnderlined text and for font size. type and color.

the http:// button is for creating a link to another posting, website or to your gallery like this My Gallery - click here

the other buttons are ones that I have never used myself.
