Hi Guys

a few weeks ago I set myself the task of finishing a couple of stalled builds - here are a Few photos of the first. Its not perfect, I hit problems which is why it stalled, but I thought you may like to see it because the 'engineering' worked - the Huey is supported off the ground by the dismounting figure.

Have a great Christmas and a safe and happy 2021

Peter

Hi Peter

That is very clever indeed the way you based up the Huey

Good interaction between the figures

Always good to see what vignettes and diorama's are being done

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime

Nap

Nice... very evocative

To complete it here's the chokka-chokka-chokka of the rotors to embed in the base (even t'interweb can't conjure up the smell of napalm in the morning or the dismay at the daily toll of body-bags returning stateside)

I assume that a hefty wire runs through the dismounting/supporting figure... but I do think it would have been more effective to have all the Huey rather than chopping it off (though I accept the engineering issues this would involve).
