Really like the rain effects - how did you make them?
...How did you achieve the circular waves in the bottom of the bunker?...
Please let us know how you did those raindrops!

Thanks Paul, Erik and Fernando.

I used Vallejo Water Effects for the raindrops. It's a great product to work with, easy to shape and mould once it gets a bit tacky. For the drops on the tree I used a toothpick to add and shape them. Same for the smaller raindrops on the concrete. The larger drops are a bit of stretched clear sprue, with a dollop of Water Effects on top.

Fernando, the ringlets in the puddle are just diluted white oil paint. I tried making them with Water Effects, but found it hard to get a neat circle. The diluted paint was a bit more noticeable too.

Cheers

Right now I'm using the same products. I have SBS almost finished of a celtic warrior including these products, but you have chieved complete mastery! I'm just starting to play with them! (y)
The idea of the White oil paint is very good. I will try it in future attempts.

Now this is gonna be cool ! You are doing an exceptional job here Nick and I'm looking forward to seeing him all done up.

Curiously, I ordered this same figure a few days ago, Mike Stevens has one on the bench and yours is well on its way. The stars must have lined up!

Joe

Cheers Joe. Yep, sounds like there's something funky going on with the stars!
It's a great figure, I'm sure you will be happy with it when yours arrives. Looking forward to seeing your version of him too (y)

Superb groundwork, and the addition of the raindrops is truly inspired.
Looking forward to your next drenching instalment.

Cheers,
Andrew
