Hello Guys,

Í finisched the Latorre 95 rifle brigade Sevastopol 1855. Whit some help off you for translating the spanish to English it was possible to paint him.
The fellow cry's for paint.
What i am know now is that beginners should learn to paint on good figures. On my club i get all compliments with the giant steps forward.
So, the better the figure, the better you paint, because the details are so much better.
For the beginners here at the planet take that as an advice. You see my fourth figure.
For the masters please give me some comments. I see now that the 3th pic is not sharp. I shall redo him.

Greetings Marc.

He looks fantastic Marc......you are on the right track. It is so true that when just starting out in painting figures, it helps tremendously to have a good quality casting to work with.

Keep up the super work Marc.

he Marc
looking good, for sure you made a big progress in your painting
it's a shame, I'm living to far from your club and have to less time to visit and learn
So, I had to learn on the pc, looking , reading and posting and hopefull to get some goodpoints at my figures to improve myself. But somehow I get less respons on my postings so maybe I'm so damned good, nobody dares to critisme me (and yes, and believe still in fairytales) or I'm so bad, people trys to save my soul for to much bad comments (and that is also something I don't believe )
But the most important thing of figure painting is that I enjoyed it very much, it's something you can forget the world when you trying to give a piece of plastic or resin some living aspects with only a brush and some colors.
I'm painting most for myself so when I'm sacrefied about a figure then it's for me okay
Greetings from a silent nightshift at the laboratory where I'mtrying very hard to stay awake

Looks real good. I especially like the rifle and the groundwork. I can totally relate to starting off with good quality figures. I've only been painting seriously for about 4-5 years and didnt want to invest much, but realized it is definitely worth the cost for quality.

Keep up the great work and keep us posted here at pf.

Looking great, I really like this one. Do not sell yourself short a good quality figure helps but it takes a good painter to get the best from it (y)

Thanks guys for the nice comments.
And John why dont you try to paint him yourself. I am shure he turns out better than mine.
Bert, we did our conversation by email. Thanks for the comment.
Guy, your so nice with your comments. Here on the pF i learned more by every picture of your figures.
Brad, i also bought some cheap figure's. But i assure you, given a little bit money more on a figure, you get more fun fore your money when painting it.
