In a fit of Scottish meanness I decided to agree to share hold baggage with Father Jack

I am abhorred at the fact that some people just don't do meticulous research before attempting to attend a Fancy dress party as the world will now surely end.

I hope the moderators stamp this sort of woeful disregard for people who just don't care enough to make everything in life perfect.

Good to hear that I am not alone in Ingolstadt. You had to mention that you are in Bavarian. So better something like that. And over the weekend there is a big "Bierfest" in front of the army museum. And the beer is really good. It is a pity that we were on the other side of the Donau this year. BTW. Ron: Where you will stay?

Hi Ulrich I don't know where we are staying ,I think Del has got that sorted ,well I hope he has !! if he hasn't he's not getting his change of clothes

There are some nice places at the Donau to sleep there but I am old and I will stay in an hotel. Give Del some nice feathers for his head and he will have many friends in Ingolstadt or better buy him a such shirt

Ulrich we arrive late on Thursday night, about 21.00, we miss the bus to Ingolstadt by a few minutes so will go to the Airport Brewery Beer Garden for a meal and get the later bus, should be in Ingolstadt about 23.00. Davie and I are staying in the Gasthof Anker easy for Saturdays Feast, Ron is sleeping in the barrel of one of the old cannons in front of the museum.
Certainly meet for a few beers ....... I'm keen to try the Guttman range at the festival which I believe has moved to Dollstrasse
