Hello everyone, I am with the figure of Fort Duquesne, French Cavalier 1630. I have a question about how these two small pieces are placed in the guard of the sword and I cannot find the key. I have looked on the internet for several options but I am not clear and I have not been able to see this finished figure from an angle where you can see how they are placed. Can anybody help me?
Greetings to all.

I found this photo on the internet:-

It's a bit small, but it does show the construction of the sword.

Cheers,
Andrew

P.S. Sorry, I missed your post stating "SOLVED".
