Hi Steve

Great bust this and like the weapon from Steve R ....no doubt it's a quality item .....

Looking forward to seeing more on this ..especially the armour he wears

Happy painting

Dinnae trust the say so o' a Bell! Tis a reiving name and ye cannae deal straight wi' him! I personally suspect Del of being a reincarnation of Willie "red cloak " Bell, a notorious scoundrel.
Nice work so far, liking the metalwork, nice and authentic. I've been looking forward to seeing what you did with this.

If you seen Del in real life you would be convinced :)

Hi Steve,
Nice addition with the pistol. Looking forward to the progression on the armour.

Now then....... on to your painted face, it's a cracker and you have excelled yourself, but I think it looks nothing like Brian Snaddon personally if that was the look you were going for. You certainly have upped your game painting that face mate.(y)
cheers
Richie

lol mate It's Brian Snaddon's face I left it well alone, mine isn't anywhere like that standard

I still don't see Brian's face in that sculpt as you quoted above and personally I think your right that sculpt does not look like your face either, the beards all wrong.

Please share your painting mix and technique for the face Steve, it's still a cracker(y)

Just tuned in to this Steve, and skipped a couple of pages of obvious sycophants to say how nice this is
The work on the face is going to be very popular on here mate.

Personally I love your work on the horse tack.
Are you going to hang a bottle of Buckie off the saddle cantle?

Nice job so far, great metal effects.

Paul.

Take no notice of these plebs Steve and their caustic remarks.Let's Face it you changed the beard ,so technically, you've altered what i had invisaged
.That makes it your work in my eyes.
Hope to see you face to face in the near future mate (i'm sorry i couldn't help myself):ROFLMAO:
Seriously,i'm looking forward to seeing him progress.:)

Alnwick hasn't changed!! :) It's not that long ago that coach loads of lads from "The Toon" used to go up for a Saturday night scrap.
Armstrong, Nixon, Dixon reiver names that will be familiar to our American members

GMF makes that point about the names in his book The Steel Bonnets as well Martin, those bloody Jocks get everywhere.

Not Jocks, Borderers. :) They're all over Northumberland.
The English "Border Horse" fought in France and Ireland but were useless at Flodden. Of course your wife might not be pleased if you killed her brother! :)
