If you like German stuff you have to love this, one of my favourite vehicles
Wish I could have a brand new one fresh out of the factory.
Maybe VW could bring them back
"You bought a jeep" no better I can go fishing in mine right off the boat ramp

It took a lot for me to say that because I love Jeeps ..lol

When I was a kid (1970's), a neighbor of ours owned a Schwimmwagen. I don't recall exactly, but it seems to me to have been a civilianized version.

And in the late 70s, Volkswagen revived the old Kübelwagen, which they marketed and sold here in the US as the "Thing".
