A short update. Been sick for 2 weeks, then kids, then wifey so I could not find much benchtime. Started working on the base, again, sorry for the sloppy shelf pictures but I usually forget to photo each stages so I generally take a picture at the end of the session (at least I have not forgot to photo the last stage on my bench with proper lightning :) )

Thank you lads, slowly but surely we are recovering! In the next step I will do some trimming and will try to immitate the effect of wind on the high grass.
 
To imitate the effect of wind on the high grass! Now, that would be a masterstroke.

I have this figure in my stash and I've admired the modelling of the billowing cloak. But it's never occured to me to show long grass bending in the wind to complement it. I would have just glued a few grass tufts to the base. Inspiration, the difference between Genuis and Idiot.

Well, thanks for the support. I actually have a plan, hopefully won't screw it up.
