What have you done and sworn blind afterwards I will NEVER EVER do another one of those bloody things. In my case it is dapple grey horses I haven't quite finished the model but the horse is finally done after strip downs, tears and tantrums. It's nearly drove me insane!

White metal figures Steve. They get on my nerves, but I've just cleaned one up.
I think to remind myself why I can't be doing with them.

Off the top of my head the thing that comes to mind is any model which features a lot of feathers cast as separate pieces - they're a real pain to paint and generally a nightmare to attach securely.

Re. white metal v. resin, I like both. I'm old enough to come from an era when there was only metal so you got good at dealing with it or you didn't do figures! But after some initial resistance I much prefer resin now for the far superior surface and detail capture as well as the easier cleanup.

Oh, I hate resin cleaning.
The bigblocks.....it cost everytime a piece of my finger.
I think you're doing it wrong then Marc :)

I remember taking close to 2 years building Andrea's "stagecoach" diorama...MAN what a pain! All those parts in white metal, some of which were missing, and almost all of them bent or somehow deformed. The filler, the glues, and trying to get the whole thing to fit onto the &^%#@ base......never again I swore, but I also wound up doing two more of their dioramas. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.

Rebuilding a saddle because the cantle won't fit between the knight's butt and his cloak - after spending $300 for the model:mad::mad:
