Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum. Just coming back into the larger scale miniatures hobby after a long break, although I've been keeping my hand in with 28mm wargaming minis.

I'm very interested in this 75mm Imagawa Yoshimoto model by Ableev Nikita (MFM).

Hs anyone here built and painted this model?

I found the attached image of Yoshimoto in a google search, but hasn't track down the source/reference of the painting. Can any of the Japanese history gurus here steer me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Have the guy in my grey army and am curious where this is going. Hopefully Oda, Akaryu, Yellowcat or one of the other Japan experts will see the thread sooner or later.

Thanks VerSancrum. You're a step ahead of me if you already have the kit. I'll most likely work on one or two other simpler models before I work up to this one. Would you be able to post a photo of what's in the box, so I can have a general idea of how complex the assembly will be? I've only been able to find images of the completed model so far. Just after a general idea, not looking for close ups of individual parts etc. Thank you!

No worries at all VerSancrum. Thank you anyway. Looks like a good kit with an interesting pose. I'm drawn to models with dynamic poses (I don't like the parade ground or 'hero pose' look for my models generally) that don't go too far and look ridiculous. This looks like a nice one and even that cover art has given me a couple of ideas.
