The above link takes you to a series of images that are thought provoking, I was moved to tears with some of them. I wanted to put this link here as I think you will all share my thoughts.

But also, some of the images deserve the possibility of inspiring figure models. One of the images has been sculpted into a figure. I think there are many images here that will inspire model makers....all will inspire emotions I am sure.
 
I'm with Gells the girly things made me reach for the sick bucket, as for models not for me it would be intruding on somebodies private pain and grief too ghoulish for me, I'm not against showing realism and what can happen to men in war but not using somebodies genuine fear and agony to make money

Ernie Mirfin did a fantastic box diorama of the bloke leaning against the Vietnam memorial. Took BoS at Euro one year. One of my favourite ever dios.
 
It's not to make money - producing figures of such moments. I think it brings home the tragedy endured in warfare. No different to Nelson dying at Trafalgar.
