After a long long time (weeks) without painting I have started to paint this figure. This is after the first session on the skin parts, obviuosly a bit rough around the edges. I want to stick with the 7th Regiment, the color combo of red and green is lovely, also the colors of the Hungarian (my country) national guard. :)

Hi there JH

Great to see you painting, nice work on the flesh ......could you share the colours you've used if possible

Following this with much interest ,the uniform colours sound good

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

The figure is already very pretty in itself, but with the magnificent skin color you gave it, I expect very beautiful final result....

Thank you lads for the nice comments!

Nap,

I started off with mixing a warm dark brown from Vallejo Burnt Red + AK Waffen Green. This was highlighted gradually with Vallejo Brown Sand and AK Sunny skintone. For the lips and cheeks I used Burnt Red mixed with a tiny Brown Sand.

Started to paint the pelisse and dolman with the color of the 7th hussar reg.
