Ahh, just found it. It was in Yate. I went in 2008 and 2009. I actually won some silverware in 2008..... I'm off on that Sunday....

Been working on the horse colour and details ....still stuff to do so will leave posting till its completed and mounted on the one off base that Pete Watson did ....a cracker

Keeping this as a ref for the horse .....in particular the blaze

Meanwhile been adding the LoH and ranking on the pelise and the straps on the sword etc......might have to rework them though also been basecoating the main figure ....made a nice change rather than look at a horse !!!!

I am in need of a good reference of how the barrel sash looked at the rear if anyone has anything

Keep at it Kev. I feel your pain, I still have 'Sail Away' sitting on the edge of my bench, alternatively mocking me and daring me to get on with it.. I'm happy enough with the basic colours and such, I'm just utterly stuck on finishing it, and as for Blond hair...... Problem is, theres so many other models to build and paint. At least I dont have a 'shelf of shame'...

Well finally the horse is nearly completed , will do the blaze , teeth and mouth plus mane ( not sure which colour to go for !! ) very soon , currently painting the plume on the bust

.....ye hah!!!!!

do need to think about making the reins will have the gold one not being held

Hi everyone

Update ...with pics ....finished ranking on arms , pouch , some lace on rear , headwear

Added straps and 1 of the reins ...to be painted gold ( currently a brown )....still to do the blaze and horses mouth

No metallics are being used

Still to do green uniform , sword , pelvises, sabretasche and front lacing which ...hopefully the later is today's task .....

Finally getting there or at least closer ...deadline 21/11/21 ...Bugle Call
