Guys,

This is my latest work. A ancient Chinese General of late Qin Dynasty. Basically I've using dragon 1/16 figure as basic maniquin... major conversion chop limps and re sculpting the detail....

The Great Conqueror Xiang Yu was a great man who lead 20,000 rebellion defeated the 300,000 Qin Army... Ended the Qin Dynasty.

The head from screaming eagle....

Now here come the armour with an ancient mythiscal animal face for chest protection... the armour suit is reference to Qin General armour.

Very nice, particularly if this is your first attempt at sculpting (is it?).
Like your work on the armour, well done. Would also like to see an SBS of it...

Cheers,
Adrian

I have used a 1/6 action figure as an armature as well. It works great. All you have to do ispose the doll and freeze it with superglue, then sculpt on the clothing etc. Your figure is coming along very well.
