Excellent painting Dan, you've really brought this little scene to life. The only thing that bothers me is the broken pane of glass hanging precariously above the soldier. If it was me, I'm not sure I'd be so relaxed!!

Hi Tony. My client wanted me to add some extra details to the piece and I must admit when I added the pane of glass I thought the same thing but when he saw the pics he liked that part of it very much so I guess it stays. Thanks for your comments.;)

Hello Dan,

Great work. Colors are nice and well balanced. Its very pleasing to the eye.
Only small point of criticism, I think the cigaret is a bit too thick.

My 2 cents.

Lol Patrick. I noticed that right away so I have scrapped the kit supplied ciggy for a more accurate one. Thanks.

Dan, I think you hit the colors on the reinforced jump jacket and pants pretty much dead nuts! As for the cigarette, shoot, I would have painted it brown and bam, you have a cigar:D! What's your take on the carbine? It appears just a touch heavy, as in thick or oversized to me. Nonetheless, I plan on geeting this trooper. (y)

LOL Joe! I should have went with a cigar and yes the carbine is a bit on the heavy side, more like an M1 but these are small nit picks for such a nice kit. Get it, I think you'll really like it. Thanks.

Thanks for following up Dan(y) . Some time ago I tried to order the figure from the Historic Art Miniatures website only to find that they were sold out. They have done another production run it seems like, as the figure is now available.
Yep, I'm gonna get one!
