Intro - and looking for...

Hi there,

I've recently been getting back into figure and military modelling after a 15-year hiatus - I maintained a stash through all that time and now feel stable enough ( = married... ) to tackle it (living offshore for all that time didn't help any...)
Wow - you guys'n'gals are good..!
I hope to show some of my work here soon - for appraisal, criticism, comment and what-have-you.

In the meantime, I have a specific request.
I'm wanting to do a conversion based on one of the Dragon 1/16th scale figures, but need an L1A1 SLR (FN FAL type) rifle to complete it - are there any manufacturers of 1/16th scale weapons sets out there..?
Any assistance with this gratefully received.

Hi and welcome! To answer your question, the fine people at the Imperial Gallery figures have a good white metal FN rifle in 1/16 scale. I received one as a spare part after e-mailing the owner for next to nothing. If you search the web for their site, you'll have no problem. But it's been a few years, so I don't know if they're still around. Good luck.
