Hot on the heels of new releases from both Tommy's War and Victoria's Heroes comes a new range.

North & South is a departure from the smaller scale figures and instead is 70mm scale (approx 1/24 scale).

Currently two of the figures are painted and I would like to pay a massive thanks to Ernesto Reyes. Ernesto will soon be painting the Color Bearer (and the use of the American spelling of color here is deliberate) and he will be blogging this step-by-step on his Facebook page.

You can find out more about the figures, their history and my plans at;

As usual the figures are available at www.tommyswar.com

Just a litlle thing : the officer should have the "banana shape" sleeves... the jacket is too much as "slim fit". But the figure is good looking anyway.
The zouave is awesome (any back picture available ?)
Good work (y)

These look great Darren, the Zouave especially.

What are "banana shape" sleeves?

He is right, he reply just hasn't come across well , that's all.
I think he means that overall the tunic is a litle bit too tight and that the sleeves should be more voluminous and baggy around the elbows and shoulders and the taper back again tighter around the wrists.

Boy, do I sound like a button-counter now!

Doesn't detract from the figure though, which is super and on my wish list.

...I'll lie down for a bit now.

Great figures Darren and it's good to see you moving into ACW. The Zouave is a stunner and looking forward to seeing the color bearer.(y)

Cheers Ken

Thank you for the kind comments.

It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks, I decided to limit the set to 100 as I thought that was a fair quantity. I initially cast 25 and had those ready, however 73 have sold in just 10 days, so the second casting of 25 was quickly used. I collected the 3rd 25 lunchtime today and will be packing those and completing orders.

Good news is that I've ordered the 4th set of 25 to complete all 100 sets in total. Those will be with me Monday.

I guess the weak pound has helped US customers, but sales have been strong from the UK and Europe.

For anyone interested, Ernesto Reyes has started the color bearer - he's blogging it on Facebook at the moment.

Once I get all orders completed I'll show a little more detail including all 3 figures in their unpainted state and also the packaging etc.
