Italian Army North Africa 1940

I need a bit of help on this bust Amati's Italian Army Saharian Officer 1940
I have no painting instruction for this bust, the left arm has a badge and there are shoulder epaulettes with a design on . Anyone have reference to colours .

Gordon, hope I'm not too late but I think the sleeve badge is for Italian colonial troops. I'm at sea at the moment so I'm not in a position to do much research. If someone has access to the Blandford book of WWII Badges by Guido Rosignoli, vol.I I think, I'm sure there's an example in there.

hi, let's see if I can help. We enclose photographs of straps similar to those of the piece. We also enclose a picture of the badge on the back that is the Sahara. Straps on the door of the infantry badge with 2 silver stars (lieutenant), the distinctive silver isn't metallic fabric but , if you need another type.
