The subject is an Italian horseman (knight) of the early 14th Century. Scale is 1/10.
I always liked this one since it came out, but never got around to buying it.
Then I found it recently in Historex Agents 'reduced' section, and couldn't resist.
The plate steel items are painted in Dark Star's Baroque, overpainted by oil mix of Lamp Black and Burnt Umber, which was then wiped off (method originates with 'brian' on PF).
The chainmail was painted with a mix of silver printers ink, cerulean blue and lamp black oil for my version of steel. Washed with mix of VanDyke brown and lamp black, and lightly dry-brushed with the steel mix.
The rest is oils or printers inks over Humbrol enamels.
I think the original sculpt is based on this Osprey (MAA) artwork:-
Cheers,
Andrew
