Italian Idyll 1943 - WIP 1/35

Hello!

I hven't posted new works here for a long time. Now I'm working on a vignette. The storry is: Some soldiers from the Canadian Ontario Regiment have a break in a small village in Italy 1943. One soldier play chess with a civil and the other sit and smoke a pipe. This last figure is a converted new The Body figure, others (and the dog) are schratch. I have planed a child too (see on pictures), but a friend tell me a better idea, I will make a standing Italian waiter.

Thank you my friend, now I think the same. The composition is't so perfect and heroic, but please wait the end of the work. I hope the result will be better than what you can see now.

And the other mater things: Here in Hungary was a paintor Group Build on a modeller forum. All members have painted this Body figure. That is why my figure is ready.

Another wonderful vignette from you. I'm not sure about the crawling figure, he seems rather odd at this stage, but I'm sure you have thought it all through. I like the idea of adding a waiter. Keep going mate.

Yeah Tony I got the enebriated impression from the crawler, well troops do sometimes drink too much.

But well done Balaz, I'm sure it's going to be a very neat vignette, it's looking good already, thanks for posting. RobH.

Oh, yeh the crawling figure was the Italian kid, but I don't like it, the size wasn't ok. I change it to the waiter, it will be more humorfull.
