27rosso and friend/sculptor Marco "Natter" Musi (www.resindreams.net) are glad to show you a little masterpiece: the Jack O' Lantern figure.
This unique figure comes out from Natter's gorgeous ideas and is sculpted in medium scale (120mm tall).
Your support is needed to have it cast and spread worldwide in a small quantity, just for those who appreciate painting this kind of pieces!

Hello All, I am a Halloween Fanatic, I fell in love with piece last year when I first saw it. I am very interested in owning a copy, put me down for one. Ray
 
Kick starter projects confuse me.
It is like having no belief in your project so fund me first just in case.
I have loads of ideas but don't expect the customer to pay upfront.
Don't get me wrong,some have been superb but it is a trend now and a bandwagon I don't agree with.
I invest, I cast, take the risk and customer is happy, posted normally within 2-3 days.

This doesn't inspire me and having been on a prop forum for 18 years, where this starred and many where bitten for a lot of money, I would be cautious of offers from new members who want funds before production.
Believe me, this piece doesn't need funding to be cast.
Nobody has paid and target is $1300, utter rubbish and we don't work off those prices after the master is sculpted, which clearly it has been.
This is a scam big time and if wrong I will apologise if the price tag requested can be justified.
They know it won't reach the target, you will pay and then get some story, after the PayPal deadline, that it cannot go ahead

First, it is not polite to give the crooks who proposes a project, so for conviction!
Second, the company (http://www.27rosso.com/) proposing the project is very serious and already sells around the world.
I do not represent the company 27 Rosso, that is clear, but I know the owners and their honest ,

their wants to produce only one of my own creation,
The company offered crowdfunding (kapipal.com) is the same as PayPal then with the same security.

To the required value is what 27 Red has found it necessary to start this business, I will not go into the merits, although I think it was dictated by the cost from their calculated: the amount of parts, equipment, etc.. I do not know!

Probably the project will not take off, especially after this beautiful advertising .... patience! But surely continue to be an honest person.

Well Marco, Gra's made an offer to cast you 30 so I'd say put up or shut up I've no dog in the fight or interest one way or the other so it's an IMO

I stick by my words and will support any new person, hence my offer which still stands to cast , if the person wants to speak.
I saw the thread and followed the link, now 3 things concern me.
You have no association but you advertise, why can't the owner.
Your reply states it is not only for production of the figure but the equipment to start producing.
You feel I am negative, yet a new member expects to be proxy for third party.
Sorry, there are better ways to welcome yourself to PF, you thanked me for the bad welcome, did you introduce yourself first ?
Thanks to those that see the sense of what I meant and money is spent with caution
 
if something seems a little dodgy then in all likely hood it is, i agree with the above it would have been better to introduce yourself and build up a good reputation first

First of all, I am NOT a new member... posted several times since sept 2007 both to show my wips and to introduce wooden bases and scale model stuff I produce.

Kapipal, in Italy at last, is a very trusted crowdfunding platform since Kapipal/Paypal guarantee is known worldwide. Otherwise I would have not used it - another project of mine is collecting trust and contributors meanwhile, which is good.
Natter sculpted it, simply, and we bet on the chance to produce it... is there any guilt? If the project is successful then ok, the pre-sell campaign is done and everyone will get their piece and rewards, if it's not then everyone will have their money back AS PAYPAL STATES, quite clear. You know Paypal... don't you? I am the only responsible referrer ans you should know and Paypal protects buyers, not me.
The price is calculated on the cost for moulding and casting a minimum quantity + some earnings for us. Can this be strange if compared to the other prices?
This is a new project, a bet for me and young italian sculptors. I never used kickstarters for the usual stuff I produce, I don't need to. This time we wish to have an incentive...

Should Natter and I send the master to you and have no guarantee on how it will be used? At last Paypal is a guarantee in my opinion.
And all this without abusing words.

Hope you are joking on the sticker thing and you have read it all, just below the first reward...
Yet there is not risk at all as I wrote before to Gra.

My reference to new member was to Natter, which forgive me looked somewhat strange posting a kickstarter from a new member. Now I also see his reference to Natters gorgeous ideas was about himself and you have confirmed him as the sculptor.
Now with reference to sending the piece to me, it was an offer, I did not really expect you to but my point was that the value put on the kickstarter seemed very high for what was being offered.
I would have no interest in doing anything with your piece other than casting a limited number at a reasonable price for you.
The piece gives me no interest whatsoever, I have a good reputation, I am honest and I was putting my services where my mouth was to offer an alternative rather than just slate your piece or rather the plan by a new member.
I still do not understand your target price or if it is for the piece or to set you up casting.
PayPal has a 45 limited number of days dispute period, after this then it is hard to make a claim, how does this work when the kickstarter started 2 May and despatch may not be until Jun, the site states 30 Jun at latest.
You have cleared that it is legitimate and therefore I apologise for expressing my doubts.
The new membership of Natter, very high price to my eyes and combined with kick starters that I have seen go sour played to me coming to this conclusion.
Had you posted initially then one of the above would have been dismissed immediately.
