My question about Platz remains.

Cheers,

Dragon did bring out a twin set of US marines and Japanese with a resin figure of Nicolas CAGE, maybe that, is the set mentioned above, but sold as a single pack.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate these Dragon sets (of course, I could very easily be wrong).
What I did locate was this set:-

On the other hand, Masterbox have a couple of sets, one of which fits your description:-

P.S. I went back to the Dragon site and put in a search for 'Windtalkers', and this came up:-
http://www.dragon-models.com/d-m-item.asp?pid=DRA6167
It's dated 2003 and does not have any details of contents, so perhaps it's no longer on their inventory. That might explain my failure to find it in my original search.

My bad: Just remembered that Dragon Action Figures are not the 1/35 sets, they're the large-scale GI-Joe-type figures. But PLATZ is definitely a distributor of Dragon's AFV kits. CC

Just came across these on Ebay from a seller in the UK, Bahard_12, he also has some nice U boat crew for sale as well.. 1/16 scale.. 50 quid.. for the set... He states they are 3D printed..
Has anyone heard of him..
