Beautiful sculpt and painting. Challenging subject and you pulled it of superbly.

Is it based on a painting? I have seen one print of Lannes with greyish hair but most, including those of him as Marshal in the 1805 - 1809 period, show him with mid-brown locks. This uniorm pre-dates those. Just curious.
