Thanks for the compliments John!

The mixture for the blue I found it on the web and was used by Patxi.
All color are Vallejo
For the base I used intense blue
Then for the first highlights I added Andrea Blue
And for the following highlights I added Sky Blue
For the shadow I added black.

Marcel.

Always a pleasure to see your work Marcel. After a quick study, I can't help but take note of your color variances in things like his hair and beard, in my humble opinion I think that they are perfectly formulated and masterfully blended from shadow, mid tone and highlights

I think because I'm an amateur I tend to "over do" the highlights, or go the other way and not bring it up enough. I love to log on and see some of the finest examples of figure painting that I've ever seen on the web, right here on the Planet. Often I will sit and stare trying to burn the images in my head. I'm very greatfull to see all of the other artists including yourself posting step by steps. Carry on my friend, if you post it, we will come.

Regards,
EasyOff.

Marcel,
I for one cannot get the "feel" of acrylics, I prefer oils.
However, what you have done is simply beautiful! It looks like it has been painted with an airbrush, and even it had it would still be over the top.
Absolutely beautiful work. I may not be good, but I know outstanding work when I see it. Thank you for sharing.
Rocky

Roc thanks for the compliments much appreciated!

Easyoff: Thanks for the nice words, but I don't consider myself as a very good painter. I just try to put in pratice what is written in the books and here on the web from the great painters and sculptors. Still have lot to learn and I'm learning everyday.

Rocky: I never tried oils so I can't tell the difference, but I know that the painting style is different. The transitions are just painted with diluted mixtures as described in Jaume and Daniel's book. But thanks a lot for the compliment!

Cheers,
Marcel.
