This D-Day piece (partial or the complete set) would make a superb subject just sprayed in bronze paint and presented as such if you did not want to paint so many large scale figures in essentially, the same uniforms/colours. This specific portrayal of a soldier crouching behind the obstacle whilst being encouraged to move on is, IMHO, the most powerful element of the entire set-piece.

I think it is superb and destined to become a classic.

Always impressed by Jeff's stuff. I know I'm whistling in the wind and know it's not Jeff's thing, but would love to see these natural storytelling poses used on some Napoleonics;
