Excellent and detailed painting here.......
I just paint for a hobby,but for me,these busts of former real-life characters can never be an exact image of the person,that we strive for.I have not seen a live pic of JFK frowning,which he seems to do on this modelling- more often grinning in reality. I have a bust coming of Marilyn Munroe - this again falls a bit short of the true likeness,but the character and poise are captured,which we try to bring out in the painting.........

Roger, you are right, just an approximation to the real person, but here is the challenge I think, try to catch the character, expression, personality, etc. This is one of the incentive of this, always try to improve. But I must say this bust is very well modeled and the artist has recreated facial features very well, at least as well as others from this brand like Monty, Marilyn or MacArthur.

Is true that most of the photos of the president show him smiling, he always had a kind face, but I have found some frowning, smoking or receiving the light of the sun.
