Just made and painted a corncob pipe out of a bit of kebab stick and a short length of solder.

That is now him finished.

Cheers all

Very nice finish to thiS Geoff. Lovely subdued colours and like the weathered edging on the belt. The pipe is a great touch, just adds that little bit extra.

Many thanks Neal, I did the belt the opposite way I usually do and it seems to work better, might just be a one off but will try it again on another one. I am pleased with the pipe too, just adds to the Hillbilly look.

Cheers

Hi Geoff,

Great job! Could you post a picture alongside one more traditional 1/9 busts? To give a notion of the size. I find these busts 1/6 to be very interesting, but I do not know how big they look.

Thank you and kindest regards,

Lovely job, Geoff. I like the scratched corncob pipe, what you've done with his hat, & the shading on the gumcloth/blanketroll.
Top-notch in all respects, just as always.

Many thank Chris, as I said in a previous post the hat was pure luck, I could not get the colour I wanted and was going to remove the paint and start again but just thought I would give it a couple of coats of Citadel Earth wash to see if that improved it, left it to dry overnight and that was the result, dead chuffed.

Cheers

Thank you Filipe, I will do it in the morning, just off to bed now.
