Hello!
Starting the work an a JSM 54mm Stormtrooper.
I replace the original figure's head for a new JSM 3D head.
I removed the armband from the tunic left arm I started to reshape the belt's buckle.
Thank you for the visit.
Regards,
Fabrício

Hi Fabricio

Nice to see you updating this project , looking good with the buckle and the head in place

Will you be adding a knife as well ?

Hi, Nap!
I will add the trench knife, pistol holster, water bottles and the gas mask bag.
All the best,
Fabrício

Hi there!
I've found this type of belt used by non-cavalry soldiers too: artillery, communications,
For me, the historical research is an important process in figure painting.
Thank you for the visite.
Stay at home and good modelling.

Fabrício

Hi Fabricio. I know that the cavalary was wearing such a belt, but never seen that before used from a "normal" soldier. But why not. Thanks for the pictures

That belt was normally used from troops together with a sabre, so for example for troops on horseback. And because the most artillery troops used horses that fit together

Hi there Fabricio

Very nice placing of the equipment like the 2 waterbottles

Another option would be to add a trench club

Really coming together now

Look forward to the painting of this
