Hello Piotr

I use Jo-Sonja from a few month and I had never this kind of problem, you just must paint dry before apply an onther layer. I use Golden meduim sometimes to have strong base and after I only use distilled water for highlights and shadows even very dilued I never have some problem. I use them exactly like I use Andrea or Vallejo paint.

Piotr hello. I ve been using josonja's acrylics for some time now since i started this post. I must say i m extremely pleased with them. As far as coverage goes, i have noticed that there are some colors (ex raw sienna, napthol crimson, brown earth) which seem to be more transparent than others. To get a good, uniform basecoat with them i quite hard so i now tend to combine them with other colors or brands like Andrea or Turner acrylics. But most of the colors are quite opaque and with a good coverage ability. Takes about 3 coats of paint dilluted with tap water (1:1) to get a smooth basecoat. From what you are describing i would say that you dont give enough drying time between layers, so a hairdrier would be an excellent solution. Of course i suppose you prime the metal of resin figure before basecoating cause if not that could as well be the root of evil.

Deneau, Dimitrios thank you for the response.

Today I will give a try with a hair dryer. And yes, I paint on the primed figures. Thanks again guys.

Advantages:
cheaper (much cheaper in the long run);
very reliable matt finish;
works well when used more thickly as well as very dilute.

Disadvantages:
much more mixing (many fewer colours, no uniform or other military colours);
more dilution necessary.
