Hi everybody,
i'm back after a long silence (lucky guys :p)
But it was because i worked hard on my first attempt to sculpt a nearly 100% figures

This a french & german soldier during the fraternizations during the winter 1914.
The scale is 1/32e, and it's a gift for my english friend Roger (billyturnip).
Now he had to paint them.

All comments are welcome ...

Excellent work Sébastien. You have done a marvelous job with the sculpting. Now we await the talented hands of Roger to bring them to life.

Sebastion,
Roger should be very pleased with your Sculpt. Came out very nice.
One question, is that a crack by the figures Right Elbow of the Right figure as you look at it, in the second photo?
Cheers
John

Seb, I like what you did. As your first sculpt you did very good. One thing... I would change those buttons !!

Hello

This scene it was inspired in the movie Joyeux Noel:D
Great project, I am going to follow it.

Regards from Portugal
Pedro

thanks to all for the words

Guy : yes now they had to cross the Channel :)

John : you can see better in the complete album, i'm not so satisfate with the right arm of the german

Stephen : you're right the buttons are not the best things i did, but i'll do better next time (i hope Roger can do something for that with the paint )

Pedro : yes it's "joyeux noël" who inspired me ;)

Tony : many thanks for the words, it was very existing to do that :D

Very well done - but think about the "kaiserbeard" of the german.

I think, after four month in trenches they did not look this way.

Greetings

Great work Sebastien,

Nice idea for a sculpt

Just watched your album- impressed, cann't wait to see them painted.

Cheers Ken

Marc & Patrick, many thanks les amis
(now you know why my dio "Störfang" was in stand-by )

Martin, certainly you're right ... Perhaps he washed it for chritmas
In fact and i've never seen two same headgear on the pictures, a lot of form and size.
I didn't want to do a war scene as always, but show brotherhood with clean clothes, german cigar and french wine bottle :) in this first winter of the war.

Ken, many thanks, as you can see the start of this project was very hard for this first sculpt

Congratulations Seb !

For a first attempt you made a very great job !
I can wait to see the paint job of Roger, it's a nice gift you made there

Georges "Al Cabannes" will be happy to see you made some advertising for FM13 ^^

Seb - Marvelous little vignette and an excellent start to sculpting! Nice story-telling! Very well done! I would have replied to your private message as well, but you are out of space (memory storage). :)

Anyways, I enjoyed assisting you and if you need help in future, please let me know.

All the best,
Dan

Sebastien, great work on the sculpture.
And Roger great start looking forward to some more color.

Marcel.
