Superb as usual Dan. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the helmet camo. It seems a bit bright to me, and I find my eye immediately drawn to it and away from the rest of the figure. A minor quibble though.

Yes Steve it was a bit bright as i had noticed when i took the pics. I've since scaled it down a bit with some airbrush overspray. Little vallejo deck tan mixed with a little khaki brown toned it down a bit.

Dan, that's great work once again! The helmet camouflage is an original touch.

How did you mount the MG?
It looks like you used lead foil for the gun sling. Does it give a strong enough way to fix the gun?
I have this one assembled and primed, but have yet to find a strong enough solution for fixing the gun before I start on it.

Cheers
Adrian

I actually let this figure sit for a while as well because I just couldnt figure out a good way to make this happen. The problem is that his thumb is molded to his hand so you just cant lay the strap in his hand, it had to be threaded through the hole where his thumb connects to the hand. I opted to use lead foil. The integrity is shitty but it all had to be done after the MG and figure were completely finished. Not a pleasant way to do it but i thought it was the best solution. I also thought of electrical tape but the gun is not heavy enough to give the tape the proper tautness. Good luck.
