Just a rant on animals and figures

I was set to photograph and post my latest effort, the 120mm Stormtroopers Captain Stewart flag bearer, having done the last few details Saturday. Had him up on the TV cabinet for display when our cat decided he'd look better on the floor. Canada's overly protective animal cruelty laws prevented me from sorting out this problem properly, but WOW was I angry. And no sympathy from the wife or daughters either!!!!

Now that I've had the working day to settle down, I can see that the figure survived much better than I had hoped. I just have to reattach the sword blade and the pointy thing on top of the standard, then re-glue him to the base. After that, into the glass enclosed and cat proof display cabinet downstairs!

May be it was the cat's critique and thought it would look better with a few battle scars

I have always had cats. At writing time two of them. They never venture into my mancave. Tought them that right from the start. They can sit outside and wait for me if they want to go out, have food or simply some company. You only need a water spray bottle to teach them. And you know, the water spray bottle works on kids as well.
