Just a thought I wanted to share

I think about the '70s and how none of this existed at all. How brothers and sisters in this got to see and talk to each other at two or three shows a year. How most of the time we spent in solitude. That this no longer has to be, that now we can keep in communication regardless of time and distance and even SEE the work being done makes this whole thing even more wonderful. Few can appreciate this more than those of us with gray in our hair.

I think (not sure) I was the first member to register here. I remember the days between HMF's closing and pF's opening. A comprehensive figure oriented website was sorely missed during that time. For a while it was just a handful of us. Then this avalanche of members came in as word got out. Even back to the days of mmhq the web has been a big part of my modelling world. It truly is a terrific medium and has aided my growth in the hobby. I've met a lot of people I might not have otherwise. So as with the others, my hat is off to those of you who make this place a worthwhile endeavor.
